Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair is an action-adventure game developed by Dragonstone Software and published by Ubisoft. It is a remake of the original 1983 classic laserdisc arcade game, Dragon's Lair. The game follows Dirk the Daring as he embarks on a mission to save Princess Daphne from the evil wizard Mordroc. The original concept remains intact, but with improved graphics and several new features.

The game begins with Dirk arriving at the castle in search of the princess. He soon discovers that Mordroc has placed magical barriers around the castle in order to prevent anyone from entering or leaving.
